Rotary Drowns Rhino is Ben Norsworthy (guitar, bass, electronics, loops) and Brian Riordan (laptop, hand percussion, keyboards, electronics, programming, drums, bass).

Rotary Drowns Rhino began as a group experimenting with electronics in a live setting. For the first several releases (Side 1 -4) All tracks are performed in real-time using custom built applications. These "live" performances were recorded straight to tape without multitracking. All loops were performed live and manipulated using original software. No overdubs, backing tracks, or click tracks were used.

As of now the two members live in different states and the project has shifted to a studio collaboration by exchanging files via the internet. Side 5 is the first of several releases from these virtual recording sessions.
